Hey sistas! I am so happy that it is finally officially summer! Wahoo! Summer is my favorite season. I love the weather, outdoor activities, BBQ’s, and fun of it all! A great way to add a little more cheer to your summer fun is yummy snacks! In this post I will be giving you a recipe for a quick and easy snack, Cheerios™ trail mix. I love Cheerios™ because they are such an easy snack and my daughter loves them. We can bring them wherever our adventures may take us. They add a little more cheer to our fun summer days!
This Cheerios™ trail mix is great for hiking, pool days, road trips, and pretty much anything summer related! It is also so easy to make and kids will love it! I chose to use Honey Nut Cheerios™ because those are my family’s favorite but you can really use any kind. I easily found my box in the cereal aisle at Walmart. Walmart has a wide variety of Cheerios™ flavors that you can choose from like chocolate, frosted, and apple cinnamon. You can see all the options HERE. Here is the recipe:
- 1 cup Honey Nut Cheerios™
- 1 cup peanuts
- 1 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup chocolate pieces
- 1/4 cup almonds
- 1/4 cup walnuts
- Combine all ingredients into a large bowl and mix.
