I am definitely not a morning person! Ask anyone in our family hehe but I have found that mornings are the best time for me to be productive and get a great start to the day. There are 3 Morning Habits for a More Productive Day that I have found that really work for me. Today I will be sharing these with you along with my favorite comfy clothes from Chaser brand.
Being a stay at home mom means that I need some cute comfy clothes to tidy up the house, do car pool, and run errands in. But even if you aren’t a stay at home mom you always need your go to comfortable clothes. These Chaser Leopard print joggers are my favorite right now. They are so adorable and I love the stretchy drawstring. I also found the cutest cozies for the boys as well from Zappos.
The 3 Morning habits I do to try and have a more productive day is 1st empty the dishwasher. I sometimes loath doing dishes but I have found that if the dishwasher is empty starting in the morning my kitchen is so much more cleaner because dishes aren’t piling up in the sink. I just load them as the day goes on. I usually do this while by kids are eating breakfast and it only takes me about 5 minutes. But this also means you have to start the dishwasher at night. Trust me it makes a world of difference.
My second habit is making my bed. I just love the feel of my master room being clean and put together. I walk into my room so many times during the day it really helps to see it bright and clean every time I see it. This also helps kick start my day and I can tell myself that I was productive! What really helps me to have the desire to do this is to pick out bedding that I love. If you don’t love the way your bed looks when its made it’s not as motivating for me but if it looks pretty when it’s made, it brings me joy.
My last habit I try and do is to start a load of laundry every morning. This helps to not have a bunch of laundry built up and then it takes me all day to do it and then I am in a bad mood haha. Some people like doing it all on one day but I have found that doing a little every morning makes it less of a hassle for me. And one quick tip that one of my friends shared with me that really helps is that she stands and folds it right as she pulls it out of the dryer. This has totally helped me because I have been known to leave laundry just sitting in a laundry basket for days before I fold and then I am left with wrinkly clothing! Can anyone else relate?!
Those 3 things have really had a big impact on how the rest of my day goes and the upkeep of my house. It’s also fun to involve the kids sometimes as well. My boys love being helpers and they also love their cozies I got them from Zappos. Chet’s dinosaurs sweater is here and Krew’s sweat pants that he’s totally obsessed with are here. I’d love to here any of your tips + tricks that help you have a productive morning.
sincerely,
