Happy Holidays! We are too excited for Christmas to get here! We are already planning out all of the details for our family gathering on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. A few of our holiday traditions are focused around food obviously! We always do soup and bread bowls for Christmas Eve dinner and biscuits and gravy for Christmas breakfast – yum! Can’t wait 🙂
Today I am bringing you a perfect dinner to eat during the holidays – Cranberry Chicken. It is yet another simple recipe that only has five ingredients! You know that we are dedicated to making recipes super easy for you.
You really just have to dump all of the ingredients in your Crock-Pot/slow cooker and let it sit. It turns out so tender and flavorful!
Winter time and the holidays give cranberries their moment in the spotlight. They are harvested mid-September into early November, and they are so popular this time of year.
I just served this dish over rice and it was perfect. Here is the recipe:
- Chicken tenderloins or breasts (thawed) - 2 lbs
- Cranberry sauce - 2 cups
- BBQ sauce - 1 cup
- Diced yellow onions - 1/2 cup
- Garlic salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Add thawed chicken, cranberry sauce, bbq sauce, onions, and garlic salt to crock pot / slow cooker
- Cook on high for 4 hours
Hope that you enjoy this dish – I know your family/dinner guests are going to love it! They will think that you were slaving in the kitchen all day lol But we know that we don’t have time for that 🙂
