I love working with burlap! I have done several projects that include burlap. Check out my DIY Snowman Burlap Pillow Cover post! When I was at the fabric store buying my burlap for this project, the lady at the cutting counter gave me an AMAZING tip on how to correctly cut burlap. It is so simple but will keep your strings straight when cutting. Basically burlap is a bunch of woven fibers. If you don’t cut it correctly you risk the chance of it being uneven. Also, if you have ever worked with burlap you know that it unravels very easily. Well, I also have a tip to solve that problem!
