Hey Sistas! I hope you guys are all having a fantastic week. We just got back from a fabulous blog conference and are excited to implement the things we learned with you guys. Thank you so much for supporting us and joining our sisterhood.
So, I absolutely love drinking smoothies. If I had a never ending gift card to Jamba Juice I would use it everyday. But that can get a little pricey and inconvenient if I’m having to leave my house everyday. So today I’m sharing with you my absolute favorite smoothie recipe. It has been life changing for me because it is so delicious, easy, and cheap! Those three words combined are music to my ears.
While being pregnant at first nothing sounded good to me except these puppies. I really craved tropical fruit because it is so refreshing. I would get Tropical Smoothies all the time and don’t get me wrong they are so yummy but I just didn’t want to keep spending $5 on my smoothies. I put this recipe together because it is so simple and taste just as good as smoothies I buy from stores. It only requires 2 products! I use Wawona frozen fruit DayBreak Blend. It cost me about $9 and it is 64oz, I bought it from Costco. Its organic fruit and it has peaches, mangos, pineapple, and strawberries. No sugar added. The second thing I use is some frozen orange juice concentrate. I love my smoothies super cold so I figured why not use frozen orange juice then already made orange juice. One container cost me $1 and it last me for about 6 smoothies. These smoothies cost me about $1 to make! How much better can that get?
- 3/4 cup Wawona DayBreak Blend frozen fruit.
- 2 scoops frozen orange juice
- Cold water until satisfied
- Add fruit and frozen orange concentrate into blender.
- Add water to your liking.
- Blend until smooth.
Super duper easy right? Being a busy pregnant momma I don’t have time or the desire to round up a bunch of ingredients for my smoothies. I just add my 2 ingredients, pop it in my blender that I love and then Im done. This smoothie is perfect for me. I don’t really like yogurt in my smoothies because it gives it that creamier texture and I’d rather save that for my milkshakes 🙂 This really is my favorite smoothie! I love that it is so easy to make, so cheap and oh so yummy. We hope you enjoy!
Sincerely,
patti jean
