Hey Sistas, today I am sharing a yummy family recipe with you, Bacon Pasta. It is super quick and easy to make. It is only 5 ingredients and my family loves it. 5 ingredient recipes are my absolute favorite because I am all about quick and easy but at the same time being still delicious. This bacon pasta is just that and I probably eat way to much of it when I make it. This recipe is actually from our FREE ecookbook, “30 5-Ingredient Dinner Recipes”.
- 1 lb any type of pasta
- 1 lb chopped bacon
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup butter or olive oil
- Cook noodles and drain and set aside
- In a large pot on low heat, add melted butter and eggs and scramble the eggs
- until they are fully cooked
- Fold in pasta, bacon, and cheese
- Add garlic salt to taste if desired
One of the reasons I heart this dish so much is because everyone in the family likes it. I have two picky eaters in our family and it is sometimes a rare occurrence that both eat it, mind you one is a two year old! But this bacon pasta scores in our family and is usually eaten by everyone at dinner time.
