Hey sistas! Today I am bringing you another delicious 5 ingredient recipe! This one is a slow cooker recipe. My goal is to start making more slow cooker dinners so that I can get all of the prep done early and not have to worry about dinner later in the day. You are probably going to be seeing a few more simple slow cooker recipes from me in the near future! This recipe was inspired by my love for tomatillo ranch dressing. You can find my Cafe Rio tomatillo ranch copycat recipe HERE. I took some ingredients from that recipe to use it in this 5 Ingredient Slow Cooker Salsa Verde Ranch Chicken recipe! I turned out so yummy and my family loved it! I can’t wait to make it again!
Here is the simple recipe:
- 1 cup mild salsa verde
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 bunch fresh cilantro
- 2 tbsp Hidden Valley Ranch dry dressing mix
- 3-4 chicken breasts
- Put the salsa verde, sour cream, cilantro, and ranch mix into a food processor and blend until smooth
- Cut chicken breasts into 1 inch cubes and place in slow cooker
- Pour the blended mixture over the chicken in slow cooker and stir
- Cook on low for 3-4 hours or until chicken is fully cooked
- Tip: Since your chicken is cut into small pieces, it may cook pretty fast. Keep an eye on it so it doesn't overcook or burn.
