Hey Sistas, today I am bringing you a super cute and inexpensive DIY Coffee Filter Wreath. Lately, I have felt like my entry table has been a little bit blah… and I’ve been wanting to add a little something to it. I was thinking about possibly a wreath of some kind. I didn’t want it to be green because I already have greenery on the table or brown because my mirror is brown. I decided I wanted a white wreath and started thinking about my options. Thats when I decided to make this coffee filter wreath.
This wreath was super simple to make, its a bit time consuming though. It’s the perfect craft to do while watching a movie when the kids are in bed.
Materials you will need:
- I used about 200-250 coffee filters for my wreath, so I bought two packages.
- I bought a white styrofoam wreath from Michaels and used my 40% coupon.
- Hot glue gun and lots of glue sticks.
Directions:
- Start by taking your coffee filter and fold it in half, then loosely roll it up keeping the edges the same length.
- Bend coffee filter at the bottom.
- Glue to your wreath. Start on the inner circle and work your way out. Glue coffee filter close together so there are no gaps.
- Once all coffee filters are on, trim it with scissors. Some coffee filters will be different heights so just trim it to make it look even.
This was a fun project to do because it was so easy, just fold, roll, bend, and glue. I found it easier to start from the inner circle and work my way out. Put coffee filters as close together as possible so there are no gaps. After about the 200th one your done! haha It was super cheap to make and I absolutely loved the turn out.
Sincerely,
patti jean
