Halloween Twix Mummies

Yay for Halloween time! We love celebrating it over here by making fun treats. We made these yummy Halloween TWIX® Mummies, and they turned out so cute. Do you have any fun Halloween traditions? Baking in the kitchen is always one of our traditions. My boys loved putting the candy eyes on these mummies.

Halloween Twix Mummies

First, grab your Halloween candy—Walmart has a great variety. We always buy the Fun Size M&M’S®, SNICKERS®, SKITTLES® & TWIX® candies because my family loves them! We picked out all of the TWIX® for this fun DIY treat and unwrapped them to get started.

Grab some white melting chips, and melt your chocolate according to the directions on the back of your package. Here is a tip—after I melt my chocolate in a bowl, I place an opened zip lock bag in a cup and dump all the chocolate in it. It’s such an easy way to create a frosting bag.

I cut off the tip of my plastic bag and drizzled some white chocolate along the TWIX® candies. I only covered them about 3/4 the way and left about 1/4 of each candy clear for some candy eyes.

Then, take your candy eyes and put a dab of white chocolate on the backside; this will help it stay in place. Then you place the eyes wherever you want at the top of your TWIX®. This is always the most fun part for me and my kids. I like finding the different shapes of eyeballs and placing them in different directions. You can create so many silly faces and looks with the eyes! We had a hoot decorating our mummies.

I just couldn’t resist taking a bite out of one. Man was it yummy! And of course, milk goes perfectly with chocolate. So we poured a delicious glass of ice cold milk to pair perfectly with our Halloween TWIX® Mummies.

Grab your Fun Size TWIX® candies from your local Walmart. Walmart is a one-stop shop for everything you need, which is so nice to have when you have a bunch of littles. We are excited to celebrate Halloween!
