A Tooth and A Dentist Costume

Hey friends! Today I am sharing with you such a fun and easy project! A Dentist and A Tooth Costume. Halloween will be here before you know it and if you need a quick but cute costume to make this tooth Boxtume only requires a few simple steps.

Yes, Amazon Prime Boxtumes Season is here! Boxtumes are creative costumes made at home using Amazon smile boxes and with things around your house. I made this tooth out of Amazon smile boxes. I’m sure we all have one or two or maybe even 20 (cough, cough) Amazon smile boxes coming to our house because Amazon Prime is the best thing ever! Not to mention that as Prime member, I enjoy fast free shipping! So just grab an Amazon smile box and follow these simple steps.

First start with your box, no need for taping the sides or anything. We pulled up a picture online of a molar tooth. Then we traced out the molar tooth with a pencil on the front, sides, and back. It’s nice to use a pencil because you can erase and retrace if needed.

Next, cut the outline of your tooth with scissors. I cut the side flaps of the box too. Then grab your spray paint. I used white spray paint that had paint and primer in it to cover up the brown color of the box. I did about two coats letting it dry for about an hour in-between.

Once dry, use tape to attach shoulder straps to the front and back of the tooth. And there you have it, so easy and simple! It just so happens that I have a cute dentist as a husband, so it went together perfectly! Get creative with your own Boxtume and share with the hashtags #Boxtumes and #AmazonPrime.

sincerely,
