Today I am sharing an addicting, resolution-approved acai fruit bowl recipe that is perfect for breakfast or a snack!
I work full time and alot of my coworkers at my office made New Years resolutions to eat healthier. I am sure that a few of you made a similar goal 🙂 Sometimes it a struggle for me to ditch the mini bagel and cream cheese in the morning (free breakfast offered at my workplace). But since this recipe is so yummy and easy, it is definitely a simple choice for me!
You will only need 3 ingredients plus toppings. For the fruit, I used frozen blueberries and raspberries, but you can also use acai berries. For the toppings, I used banana slices, you can also use granola and/or chia seeds. The preparation time is only 5 minutes and it is so delicious! See the recipe card below:
- 1/4 cup Almond Milk
- 1/2 cup Acai Juice
- 2 cups frozen fruit
- Blend all ingredients and eat in a bowl or a tall cup
- Add bananas and/or granola for toppings!
Acai berries and juice offer many health benefits, including weight loss and anti-aging. The antioxidant content in acai berries and acai juice provides immune system benefits similar to those of other berries. That is another reason why I wanted to share this recipe with all of you! Enjoy!
