So, there are a lot of broccoli salad recipes out there and I have tried a lot but this recipe by far is my favorite. My parents like to have get togethers all the time in their back yard, I’m talking like a bbq almost every week in the summer time. Sometimes on the weekend it was even twice a day!
Anyways sometimes there would be this great broccoli salad that I would always go back for seconds and usually there wasn’t any leftover. After like twice of this happening I just had to find out who made this salad. I got the recipe and have been making it ever since.
I can always justify eating broccoli salad. I am getting my green veggies right?! hehe. My husband won’t touch vegetable with a 10 foot pole so I either make this basically for myself or for some type of get together.
This recipe is super easy to make with not very many ingredients. I love the bacon in it, any excuse to add bacon and I’m in! You just chop it all up. Throw it all together and pour your dressing on. I don’t like to coat it with my dressing until I’m ready to serve because I don’t want my broccoli getting to soggy. I love serving with a pretty bowl and a cute serving utensil. Everyone always inhales this stuff and there are usually never any leftovers when I take it to get togethers. It’s a good one!
