I am so excited to share Cal’s Neutral Nursery today with you. It was such a fun project and has easily become one of my favorite rooms in the house. All sources are at the bottom of this post.
I’ll start off by saying that this room was hard for me to start. We lost 2 babies before Cal and one of them I was already at 17 weeks. So, the fear of starting a nursery and then something happening was very real and raw for me. My third trimester was when I started feeling a little more confident and realized that I was ready to start designing the nursery.
I knew that I wanted to go with a neutral color scheme this time around with our 3rd boy! Right when I saw this bull canvas print I knew that it had to be in the nursery. My husband wasn’t so sure at the time because it is not that babyish but after the turnout we both love it!
We had the hardest time deciding on a name! Boy names can be so hard and with picking out a 3rd boy name it took us all the way until the day after he was born for us to decide on Cal! And we love it! Now we have Krew, Chet, and Cal. I am one blessed momma. I wanted to have his name in the nursery somewhere and thought it would be fun and different to do it with block letters. I also added a rainbow stacker because Cal is our rainbow baby.
My mom is a total rock star and helped me create this accent wall for his nursery. I absolutely am obsessed with the turn out! Sometimes I just stand in the room and stare at it haha. Thanks again mommy! And this DaVinci Olive Glider is heavenly! I had a hard time deciding on a rocker but this has the perfect color and style I was looking for.
This nursery holds such a special place in my heart. I absolutely loved the turnout and can’t wait for Cal to start making memories in it!
