Hey Sistas! Today I am sharing with you my chocolate chip banana bread recipe. Does anyone else sometimes hope there bananas won’t get all eaten just so you have an excuse to make banana bread? Or am I the only one? Well I love having an excuse to make banana bread and this chocolate chip banana bread is one of my favorite recipes. I try and trick myself that just because it has bananas in it that it is a little healthier for me. But I know deep down that it isn’t but at least I’m getting my fruits right?
- 1/2 C butter
- 1 C sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 3 Ripe mashed bananas
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 C cocoa
- 1 1/2 C flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 C semi sweet chocolate chips
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Beat butter, sugar, and eggs together until smooth.
- Add in bananas and vanilla until combined.
- Mix in the cocoa, flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Stir in chocolate chips with a spatula.
- Pour into 3 greased mini pans or one greased large pan.
- For minis bake for 30-35 minutes. For large bake 60-70 minutes.
This recipe is super simple and easy to make. I like making mini loaves because I feel like it last longer in my house or if I am wanting to bring it to others. This chocolate chip banana bread comes out super moist and chocolatey, it will not disappoint.
