Hey Sistas! So my sister in laws birthday party was a couple of weeks ago and my brother put me in charge of making dessert. He said his wife likes brownies with cookie dough in it. At first I was like ah what? How do you make that because it sounds amazing! But I came up with a little different version and I call it the Chocolate chip cookie brownie. It turned out just as good as it sounds, delicious. I’ll be adding this to my recipes.
So you first just start out by making normal brownies. I of course used my favorite kind, the same one I used on my Peanut Butter Cream Cheese Brownies and my Peanut Butter Brownie Truffles. Betty Crocker Fudge Brownie box mix. Pour into 9×13 greased pan and set aside. Make your favorite kind of cookie dough but half the recipe. I used Nestle’s recipe. Then with a cookie dough scoop, just like the size of normal cookies you just plop them on top of the brownie mixture.
- 1 Box Betty Crocker Fudge Brownies
- Ingredients to make brownies (on box)
- 1/2 Recipe of your favorite cookie dough
- Make brownies according to directions on box. Pour in 9x13 inch sprayed pan and set aside.
- Make 1/2 of your normal cookie recipe.
- With cookie dough scoop, scoop normal size cookies and place them in brownie batter.
- Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes or until tooth pick comes out clean.
I ended up putting 11 cookies in my brownies. You can very however you like. But they turned out so yummy and my sister in law loved them for her birthday!
Sincerely,
patti jean
