Hey Sistas! Do you ever get bored of making the same old lunches every day for your kids? I do! It’s hard sometimes to come up with new ideas that your kids will enjoy and that will help power their play. Have you ever tried dressing up your lunch so that your kids are more excited to eat it? My son is a pretty picky eater and I have found that when I make it a fun activity for him he is more likely to eat it. Today we are bringing you a fun and easy recipe on how to decorate your corn dogs, that will help bring fun into the kitchen and lunch time.
Like I mentioned before my son is a picky eater so State Fair® Corn Dogs and Tyson® Chicken Nuggets are a must have at my house. I love the corn dogs because they are super easy to make and are a good source of protein. Great news, there is H-E-B yellow coupon in-store for $2 off! Also use this coupon found when typing into the websites search engine for $1 off! Chicken nuggets are a must have in our house as well because my son loves them and they have all natural ingredients.
I am alway getting great things from the frozen food isle at HEB that keeps my son happy and fueled throughout the day as he plays. You can find these corn dogs on aisle 9.
My son and I decorated our corn dogs to look like Minions. My son loves that movie so I knew he would be super excited to help me make them and then eat them afterwards.
- State Fair® Corn Dogs
- Mozzarella Cheese
- Sliced Black Olives
- Nori
- Cook corn dogs according to package directions.
- Cut your nori into 1/4 inch strips and wrap along the top of your corn dog for the mask.
- Cut slices of your mozzarella cheese and with a top of a bottle cap cut out a circle.
- Place in the middle of your nori mask. Do the same with any smaller lid for two eyes.
- Then take sliced olives and cut in half for the mouth. Place olives as the pupil for the eye as well.
- Roll some nori onto 3 toothpicks and stick into the top of your corn dog.
There you have it! Super easy and quick to make. It will help power your kids throughout their play and make meal time fun. My son absolutely loved it.
Sincerely,
patti jean
