Deep Fried Deviled Eggs

Hello sistas, and happy almost-Easter! Yes, Easter is in 9 days!! Can you believe it?

We just had to share with you a family recipe with a delicious twist: Deep Fried Deviled Eggs!

Our mom always makes deviled eggs – all the time. For as long as we can remember, she has made them for parties and brought them to events and EVERYONE thinks that they are so amazing. She is known for this appetizer and she always gets so many compliments. So, when we finally found out how simple her recipe was, we couldn’t believe it!

Easter Deep Fried Deviled Eggs

I definitely wanted to make our mom’s deviled eggs this year for Easter, but I decided to kick it up a notch. Why not deep fry her deviled eggs? Genius!! It was one of the best ideas that I have ever had in the kitchen.  They are so delicious and you have got to try them!

The best part is, you will only need 5 ingredients and a deep fryer! We guarantee everyone is going to love them.

Ingredients
  1. 15 eggs
  2. 12 tbsp Mayonnaise or Miracle Whip
  3. Vegetable Oil for frying
  4. 1 cup Bread Crumbs
  5. 1 cup Flour
Instructions
  1. Boil 12 eggs in pan of water. Bring to boil. Remove heat and cover for 12 minutes.
  2. Drain and run cold water over the eggs
  3. Peel eggs and cut in half, lengthwise
  4. Place hard egg yolk in a mixing bowl
  5. Mix cooked yolk with mayo/miracle whip. You can add food coloring if desired
  6. Add oil to deep fryer and heat to 350 degrees
  7. Put breadcrumbs, 3 beaten eggs, and flour in three separate bowls
  8. Dip the halved hard-boiled eggs in flour, then eggs, then breadcrumbs
  9. Deep fry: I deep fried mine for about 25 seconds
  10. Add yolk/mayo mix to fill the eggs. I just used ziplock bags and cut a tiny hole at one bottom edge
  11. Serve warm
Notes
  1. You can definitely substitute mayo for miracle whip. Half of my family are mayo lovers and half are miracle whip lovers.
