DIY Beauty Tools Holder

Hey Sistas! If you are like me, you use your straightener almost every day. It can be a pain to take it out, use it, let it cool, and put it away everyday.  So, I decided to create a cute beauty tools holder so that I can easily access my straightener (CHI) each busy morning! I am loving it and I think that you will too.

Beauty Tools DIY Holder

You probably do not need to spend more than $10 on this project, depending on the pipe size that you select! Here are the supplies that you will need:

PVC 45 Degree

Acrylic Paint

Paint Brush

I purchased a PVC 45 Degree Wye Pipe for $1.50 + Shipping: HERE.  This one is about 6″ tall. However, if you are wanting to have this hold your blow dryer, or something heavier than a small straightener, be sure to buy a bigger & heavier pipe.

You can decorate this however you you like. You can even use spray paint instead of acrylic paint if you wish.  I just went to Target and bought these colors: Handmade Modern, Acrylic Paint Multi Surface, in Satin CORAL and Metallic 20K GOLD.

Here are the steps that I took to paint by PVC pipe:

  1. First coat of pink paint, inside and outside, let dry
  2. Second coat of pink paint, inside and outside, let dry
  3. First coat of gold paint, outside edges only, let dry
  4. Second  coat of gold paint, outside edges only, let dry

You can apply painters tape before you add the gold paint trimming so that you get straight lines.

Hope that you enjoy this quick and easy beauty tools holder hack!
Sincerely,

tami jean
