Is everyone you know obsessed with unicorns right now?! haha Everyone I know is! We just had my nieces 4th birthday party and literally every gift she received was unicorn inspired, hehe! That is why I thought it would be so fun to create a tutorial on how to make DIY Unicorn Planters with Plasti Dip craft. Video tutorial below!
Have you heard of Plasti Dip craft? This stuff is amazing. It’s an air dry, specialty rubber coating that you can spray. It can be used in so many ways – from home improvement projects to customizing personal items. To find them, Shop now on Amazon! This is such a fun craft to do with your kiddos or by yourself. It adds such a fun touch to your planter pots and makes it even more exciting to plant things.
These Unicorn Planter Pots are super easy to make!
- I bought some planter pots and placed them in a well covered and ventilated area.
- Flip the pots upside down and spray with your favorite color of Plasti Dip Craft. Let dry.
- To make the planters multi colored, tape the bottom of your pot, flip it over and spray again using another color. Undo the tape and let dry.
- Once dry I glued on my unicorn ears and horn. Then I dressed it up with some embellishments like flowers and fun things.
- Grab a paint pen and draw on the unicorn eyes. All finished! How easy is that? Now you can find some super cute plants to pot inside of it.
What I really like about Plasti Dip craft is how durable it is. It protects against things like moisture and corrosion. Also, lets say I mess up while I’m doing a project which happens pretty often, hehe. Or lets say I want to switch it up with another color, Plasti Dip craft is peelable on most surfaces so I can just peel it right off and start over. So simple! Get yours at Amazon.
I really enjoy creating crafts with my kids. Even though it might take a little bit more time or way more messier than it usually would I always find joy in doing it. My kids are always so happy when their being creative or when they feel like they are helping mommy with a project.
Do you like plants or gardening? We are in the middle of moving to Texas and I really want to learn how to garden! I think it would be so fun to have something that the whole family can do together. I think it also teaches good life lessons to our littles about taking care of a garden. If you have any tips for me about gardening, let me know! I hope you enjoy this fun DIY Unicorn Planter project.
sincerely,
