Hey sistas! Today I am sharing a delicious and very simple soup recipe. This easy 8 can chicken taco soup will literally take you only a few minutes to prepare. All you have to do is dump everything in! Don’t you love recipes like that? I know I do! I have been making this soup for years and it is one of my favorites! Even my one year old daughter loves it. I just drain the liquid and let her eat the chicken and vegetables. I think that your family is going to love it too!
Here are the 8 cans you will need:
- 1 10 oz can of chicken breast chunks
- 1 can kidney beans (drained)
- 1 can pinto beans (drained)
- 3 cans Hunts fire roasted diced tomatoes
- 1 can corn (not drained)
- 1 small can green chiles
- 1 packet of taco seasoning
- Dump all cans and taco seasoning into large pot and stir
- Cook until soup is warm enough to serve
- Serve with sour cream and tortilla chips
The ingredient that gives this soup so much flavor is those fire roasted tomatoes! I have tried other brands but Hunt’s tastes the best!
