Gift Guide: 10 Cooking Tools for the Simple Chef | www.SincerelyJean.com

Hey sistas!  As you know, we love to keep cooking SIMPLE here at Sincerely Jean!  We especially love simple recipes with only 5 ingredients or less.  If you haven’t claimed your FREE copy of our “30 5-Ingredient Dinner Recipes” ecookbook make sure you do that now!  Today we are sharing our top 10 cooking tools for the simple chef.  These tools make cooking more simple!  This is the perfect gift guide for friends and family who are busy and want dinner prep to be more simple!  #3 is a pick from our friend and fashion blogger Brittany Payne.  She blogs over at findingFRINGE and we love her edgy yet classy fashion!

.ChopStir: Patti loves her ChopStir and highly recommends it! It easily chops meat and doesn’t damage your cookware.  It would be the perfect tool to use for our 5 ingredient ground beef stroganoff recipe!

.OXO Good Grips Medium Cookie Scoop: Cookie scoops are so helpful when making anything that needs to be cooked in even sized balls!  We use this product to make our popular peanut butter brownie truffles!

.Polder Stable Read Digital Thermometer: Our friend Brittany who blogs over at findingFRINGE loves her digital thermometer and uses it whenever she cooks meat.  All you have to do is insert the probe, press the button and wait for the beep which only takes about 4 seconds.  This will help you avoid under or over cooking your meat!

.Meat Shredder Claws: These will come in handy if you make our delicious 5 ingredient salsa chicken recipe! These shredder claws are perfect for chicken, beef, brisket, turkey, poultry, hams, or roasts!

.Watermelon Slicer: This is one of those products that makes you ask yourself, “Why didn’t I think of that?”. This is the perfect tool for making fruit salad!

.Crock-Pot Slow Cooker with Digital Timer: Everyone should own a slow cooker! They make life easier! This particular Crock-Pot product is great because it has a digital timer! The timer counts down for you so you don’t have to worry about leaving it on too long. If you are not there when it finishes cooking, it automatically switches to warm. How cool is that?  This product would be perfect to use for our slow cooker bacon potato corn chowder and our  slow cooker Thai yellow curry recipes!

.Chef’n Cob Corn Stripper: This is the perfect tool if you want to use fresh corn in a recipe! It easily cuts the corn right off! They have a video tutorial you can watch if you click on the link.

.Stainless Steel Apple Peeler:  Our mom got all three of us girls this apple peeler and it is seriously a life changer!  It slices, peels, and cores apples, potatoes, pears, or any other fruit and vegetable!

.Food Slicing Tool Holder: It is almost impossible to cut tomatoes, onions, or oranges in perfectly even slices but this awesome tool makes it possible!

.Jar Opener: No more almost breaking your hand from opening stubborn jars! This jar opener has eight sizes of circular openings and a lever action that gives anyone the strength to open any lid.
