Sistas,

I hope that you enjoyed my last Halloween post on my DIY Pineapple costume! Today I am bringing you another Halloween post and this time it involves chocolate and candy – need I say more!? See below, how easy it is to make this Halloween chocolate candy bark as a dessert for any spooky event!

halloween candy chocolate bark - Perfect and simple dessert for Halloween, by SincerelyJean.com

Halloween is coming up in six weeks! We know you will be busy with costumes, trick or treating, parties and more. So, let us come up with the perfect, quick Halloween treat for you!  It seriously took me about 10 minutes to make this chocolate dessert and everyone loved it. You know that my sisters and I are all about keeping it SIMPLE!

The only ingredients that you will need are chocolate chips and candy. To make life a little more simple, I chose to buy mini pieces of candy. However, you can get fun size or regular size candy and just cut them up. Also, if you prefer dark chocolate or white chocolate, feel free to switch it up.

Ingredients
  1. 23 oz bag milk chocolate chips
  2. About 50 small pieces of candy
Instructions
  1. Line the baking sheet with parchment paper
  2. Melt chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl (I microwaved for 1 min, stirred, and then three 20 second intervals, stirring in between)
  3. Pour melted chocolate onto parchment paper/baking sheet
  4. Place candy pieces into the chocolate (can purchase mini pieces or cut up pieces from regular sized candies)
  5. Refrigerate for 1 hour
  6. Use a knife to cut the bark into chunks. May want to move bark onto a cutting board
Notes
  1. Need parchment paper
  2. Need 9"x13" baking sheet
