Holiday Baking With My Boys

Holiday baking with my boys is always one of the best traditions! It brings me so much joy creating memories, talking, laughing, and having a good time with them. I want our home to be a place where it feels safe for our kids; where they feel loved and understood. Something that helps create that atmosphere is baking in the kitchen. The kids always want to help and especially always want to eat! It brings us together!

We kicked off our holiday baking with gingerbread cookies! We picked up Challenge Salted Butter from Randalls—their app makes it so easy—and threw on our matching aprons and got to baking. Our boys love having matching aprons. It makes it more exciting and special when we all wear them.

Challenge Butter is one of my favorite butters to use in baking because it tastes great and there are no artificial flavors added. It’s also family farmer owned and operated which I just love. They’re one of the oldest dairy co-operatives in the country and they’ve been churning fresh butter every single day since 1911! I feel like you don’t find that too often anymore! You can find it here at Randalls.

My boys Krew, Chet, and Cal love to be silly and have fun. They make me realize that life is about having joy and my family definitely brings so much joy to mine.

What are your favorite holiday traditions? I love hearing about others! I am always on the lookout for more traditions to start with my family. They give the holidays meaning and create so many memories!

sincerely,
