Planning a baby shower is a lot of work but so much fun! Tami and I loved planning Shari’s baby shower and are so excited to meet out little niece! We had so much fun planning out the food, games, and decorations. Since Shari is having a baby girl, pink was our main color. Gold was our accent color.
We actually had two cakes! An adorable pink bear cake and a beautiful pink rose cake. We also had cute cupcakes and cake pops….that’s a lot of cake! We had more than just cake though. We also had chicken salad with croissants, vegetables, chips, and a strawberry spinach salad. All of the food was delicious! You can learn how to make our cake pops HERE.

One game that we played had 8 bags that each had a letter that spelled “baby girl”. Each guest had a paper with those letters and they had to write down a baby item that started with each letter. After everyone had written down their guesses, Shari pulled the baby item out of the bag and if the guest guessed it right they got one point. The person with the most points at the end of the game won. Another game we played may sound a little gross but was actually really funny! We melted different chocolate candy into diapers and the guests had to look and smell and try to figure out which candy bar it was. The person with the most correct guesses at the end of the game won.
One of my favorite decorations were framed quotes. Here is a picture of one of them.
The shower was so much fun! We hope that this gives you some ideas for the next baby shower you host!
Sincerely,
patti jean
