I am about 22 weeks along in my pregnancy. For those of you who don’t know, we are having another little boy. We’re due in June and I am getting more and more excited to met this little guy. We are having a little trouble with a names so if anyone has an idea please share!
To be honest this pregnancy has been a lot harder then my first. I was sick longer and I just feel like my belly has gotten a lot bigger faster this time around. Ive heard this is normal with your second baby but it is still hard sometimes for me to embrace but I am becoming better at it. During pregnancy as my belly grows and grows it seems like my clothes start to shrink. Nothing but sweats and leggings feels comfortable. When I was able to wear this short sleeve maxi maternity dress I was so excited because it was so comfortable! It is something I can feel pretty in but as the same time still be able to breathe in. I love that it is long and flowy so it doesn’t show all the bumps and bulges.
It flows perfectly over my tummy but just tight enough for people to see that Im pregnant and not just gained a few lbs. I like that the cap sleeves are a tad bit longer then other shirts. Sometimes I feel like super short cap sleeves makes my arms look bulkier and so I like that the cap sleeves are a tad bit longer then other shirts. It helps give my army a little more of a slimmer look. Also with the short sleeves I feel like I can wear it in the summer and just throw a cute shall over it during the winter.
The color is why I choose this specific maternity dress. There are a bunch of different colors but beige I feel like goes with every season and occasion. Dress it up with a pop of color or leave it all neutral, it can go either way. One of my favorite things about this maternity dress is that I can wear it postpartum. Since it is a maxi it stretches for baby and looks normal when your not pregnant.
Overall I really liked this dress. PinkBlush Maternity has a wide variety of trendy maternity clothes to choose from that help me feel more comfortable and beautiful during my pregnancy. Sometimes thats hard to feel while your getting bigger and bigger. But I try to embrace this miracle inside of me and I am so grateful for the opportunity to be this little boys mother.
