I am wearing a cute, high-waisted, pleated vintage dress and layered on a white PeaCoat. I absolutely love the high waisted look for many reasons. A high waist draws attention away from the stomach, allowing you to eat whatever you want in this dress haha………What good is valentines day if you cant stuff your face with chocolate?? The wide waistband also shrinks down your midsection. That combined with the pleated/fit & flare look, will have you staying comfortable the whole night!

This piece is also SO versatile. I paired it with a white Peacoat, but you can also wear it by itself, or layer on a patterned sweater or lightweight ruana.

Red is the color of love, so go ahead and pair the dress with these solid neutral colors: Pink, white, black, gray, ivory, tan.
