Microwaves can be hard to clean! Some of the guck can be very hard to scrub off. I recently found this trick and want to share it. The secret cleaning ingredient to get a sparkling clean microwave is……white vinegar! The guck comes right off!
Steps:
1. Combine 1/2 cup white vinegar and 1/2 cup water in a microwave safe bowl.
2. Heat mixture in the microwave for 3 minutes.
3. Let the mixture sit in the microwave (don’t open the door) for an additional 2 minutes. This will allow the steam to rise.
4. Use a rag or sponge to scrub the microwave using the hot mixture.
And voila, you have a sparkling clean microwave!
