Hey sistas,
How has your week been? Hopefully fantastic! We are hoping that we can end your week with ease, by bringing you a dinner recipe that is so simple and delicious! We are bringing you five ingredient Hawaiian Haystacks! If you have never tried Hawaiian Haystacks, you are in for a treat. It is the perfect warm dinner for any cold day.
My sisters and I grew up on this meal, Hawaiian Haystacks. This recipe is so easy, tasty, and you can choose a variety of toppings. I just used pineapple as my topping, but you can also use diced tomatoes, coconut flakes, chow mein noodles, shredded cheese, raisins, cashews, etc. When I made this easy meal for dinner this week, it only took me about 20 minutes, and my husband loved it! It saved me so much time and the left overs will taste amazing as well.
- 1 cup milk
- 2 cans cream of chicken
- 1 can chicken (12.5 oz)
- 4 cups cooked rice
- 1 can Pineapple chunks
- Cook rice as directed on box
- Add cream of chicken, milk, and chicken to a medium pot. Bring to boil over stove top and stir frequently.
- Add rice to plate, top with chicken sauce, and add desired toppings
- Other toppings can include diced tomatoes, coconut flakes, shredded cheese, chow mein noodles, raisins, etc.
We hope that our blog is helping make life more simple for you! We know how busy we all are, and we need more time to spend on the important stuff. We have plenty of meals on our site that are delicious, but will not leave you slaving away in the kitchen 😉
Sincerely,
tami jean
