Oh hey hey hey! I’m just watching HP right now (harry potter) while writing up this Easy and Delicious Deep Dish Pizookie Skillet Recipe. Man am I excited to share this recipe with you. Pizookies are basically my love language haha but really though I love these things so much. Does it get any better then Harry Potter and Pazookies while snuggling up to my hubby, I think not!
I can basically eat any kind of flavor as well but I decided to go with chocloclate chip because you can never go wrong with chocolate chip right?! And I love eating the cookie dough along the way. This was a fun recipe to make with my boys. They get so excited when I ask them if they want to help me bake. Usually because they try to eat some chocolate along the way! Just like their momma.
I always place a big scoop of vanilla ice cream on top, Costco vanilla ice cream is my favorite. I place it on top when my cookie has cooled off a bit but just enough that the ice cream still melts a little. It’s the best when the dough is just a little under cooked. Its ooeygooey goodness makes for the yummiest weekend treat. The cast iron skillet that I love to use is from here. It gives it that crispiness on the outside but gooey on the inside. You can all so do small individual pans that you can find here here.
