Thank you CLIF Kid for sponsoring this post. Be sure to check out the new CLIF Kid Zbar Filled and encourage your kids to get outside and play!

Kid Friendly Snacks to Extend Play - easy - on the go - simple

My little boys are going going going all day long and they love the outdoors! It is hard, especially for my three year old to ever want to take a break and eat. It really is so hard to just get him to sit, relax, and enjoying eating just like I do hehe! So because of this I have put together some Kid Friendly Snacks to Extend Play. This way us mommas can feel good about our kiddos getting the nutrients that they need even while they play all day long outside.

CLIF Kid Zbar Filled are one of our favorite go to snacks to extend play. My son is a really picky eater but he absolute LOVES these bars. No joke, he would eat the whole box if I let him. Zbar Filled is filled with the good stuff! Nutritious ingredients like oats and nut butters, certified USDA organic and non-GMO, and free from ingredients that as a parent, I’m looking to avoid, like high fructose corn syrup and artificial flavors.

Oh and don’t worry, he figured out a way where he didn’t have to put his bat and ball down while he ate his CLIF Kid bar. Both my boys play all types of games and activities outside but they mostly play anything that involves a ball.

My next snack that I love to give my kids is my Green Smoothie For Kids recipe that I make. It has spinach, fruit, and peanut butter. Just like CLIF Kid, it has nutrients for our littles. It also fills them up with their greens and hydrates them so that they can go right back out and play.

My next yummy snack that my kids really enjoy eating are my energy ball snacks. These are make ahead of time snacks that are packed with nutritious ingredients that help your kids keep their energy up and stay healthy. They are quick and easy to make. I keep them in the fridge and when your ready just pop them out and your ready to go.  My kids love that they have chocolate chips in them as well. I also love snacking on them too.

It delights me that my kids get outside and play. It makes me so happy seeing them enjoy the outdoors and staying healthy. That is why these kid friendly snacks that extend play come in handy. I like to keep things fresh and not have the same snack each day. That is why I love that Zbar Filled offers great taste and delicious flavor combinations that my kids LOVE, they don’t get bored with them and I feel great as a parent knowing that they’re nutritious.

sincerely,

patti jean
