Monthly Update

You Guys! We have been in 3 states in the past 3 weeks! It has been crazy but fun. Kai had his 3 week break from school and we utilized every second of it. Now as I am sitting here writing this I’m a little sad Kai is back in school I wish we could have all day every day playing and having fun! How fun is that photo at the beach that Kai took?!

We first started off with a quick trip to Washington. One of Kai’s cousins was getting married in the Seattle temple. It was a beautiful wedding and it just reminded me of how grateful I am to be sealed to my family forever. If you want to learn more about my religious views you can see it here.

monthly update from Washington to California to Idaho

While in Washington we stopped by the tulip festival. I have never been to one before but wow was it beautiful! It was a clear day the day we went and the colors of all the tulips were just magnificent. I love the picture of the boys that I snapped of them hugging each other. My Momma heart melted.

After Washington we came back home for a day, squeezed in some laundry and were off to San Diego. San Diego and the beach is my happy place! Do you have any great spots in San Diego you like to hit? We have recently discovered Phils BBQ, if you haven’t yet you have to try this place. It has great food! We spent the week at the beach and pool just relaxing. It was so nice having some quality family time. I love my little family so much!

monthly update from Washington to California to Idaho

We took the boys to sea world one day and they absolutely loved it! We went on a week day so there was hardly any people there! The next day we were hanging at the beach and a family came up to us and offered us free tickets to Lego Land because they weren’t going to use theirs any more. We of course thanked them so much and then hopped in car and went. The boys LOVED it! I have never been to Lego Land but it was perfect for the ages of our boys. My 4 year old was able to ride almost every ride. We had a blast.

And just like that we were on the way home. We spent a day at home again doing laundry! oh laundry! and then we took off and flew to Idaho. Kai has only one more year of school left so we are starting to get our feelers out for where we want to live. We have a bunch of friends and family in Idaho that all love it so we decided to see what its all about. We first stopped in Idaho Falls, it was so dreamy and everything was green and clean. People said we came at the wrong time of year and should be coming in January to get the real Idaho Falls experience. We stayed with some great friends that we had so much fun with.

After Idaho Falls we went up to a ranch in Pocatello to stay with some cousins. She just recently built her dream home and you guys it is amazing! I am going to do a separate blog post about it because it was incredible! I got a lot of ideas for my future home one day hehe. They sit on thousands of acres so there view is just majestic. The boys had the time of their lives riding horses, feeding the pics, running after cows, and fishing.

After we said goodbye to the ranch we headed up to Boise, where we really have had our feelers out to maybe end up their one day. We stayed with some more family up there and it was just so good to them! Boise was awesome, so green and trees everywhere. So much different then Vegas, people actually had real grass front lawns haha. Kai and I really want to live on some acreage, not a lot but a couple acres maybe. We found some great little spots in Idaho that look like a great place to raise a family.

Now we’re back home and back to real life! It was so much fun to get away from our day to day duties, do some fun things, and recharge. I am ready to get back into the routine of things and accomplish some more goals.

sincerely,
