Peppermint Hot Chocolate - simple - easy - dessert - holidays - christmas

Hey Sistas, Christmas is in full force at our house. We have the tree and decor set up, the stockings are hung, and our elf on the shel named Chipper is up, keeping on eye on our boys. We are hoping that it helps with good behavior during the holidays but we shall see!

One of our favorite go to’s during the holidays is hot chocolate. My husband loves hot chocolate so we make it a lot during this time of year. We always put it in our favorite mugs found here. These mugs are perfect for any hot drink or soup. During the holidays one year, one of my volleyball teammates in college told me that she loves putting a big scoop of peppermint ice cream in her hot chocolate. My mind was blown! For some reason I had never thought of doing that and I thought it was the most genius thing ever. I went right to the store that night and I had peppermint hot chocolate. My life has never been the same since hehe.

This is super easy to make. I just make up my hot chocolate. I always double the amount of hot chocolate mix because its just better that way! I like to use candy canes of string spoons as well. Then I plop some peppermint ice cream on top. Delicious. It makes it creamy, pepperminty, and chocolatey. Hope you enjoy.

Sincerely,
