Thank you Idahoan® Steakhouse® Soups for sponsoring this post. Stay warm with this winter with a cozy bowl of soup!
I love the holiday season but with it comes the hustle and bustle and some days I am beat! I feel like Christmas time is too short and we try to squeeze so many fun activities into one month! So worth it but we are busy. That is why Idahoan® Steakhouse® Soups are life savers! This soup, no joke, is one of the best instant soups I have ever tasted. Even my husband said, “Wow this is delicious, where did you get the recipe?” It took me only 5 minutes to make and it gives the flavor of a slow cooked restaurant quality soup.
I paired this soup with my 15 minute garlic knots. These are so simple to make and so delicious! It’s the perfect side dish for soup. It goes well with any of the four Idahoan Steakhouse Soups: Loaded Potato, Creamy Potato, Cheddar Broccoli and Cheddar Potato.
Sometimes with us busy moms its just so nice to have a quick but delicious meal on hand. Soup is the perfect option to help warm up in this cold winter weather. It makes it really feel like winter time when soup is served for dinner. I love fresh rolls served with soup as well, its the perfect combo.
Bread recipes a lot of the times take forever to make and I usually want to make bread but I just don’t have the time. I need something quick and fast and that is where these 15 minute garlic knots come in.
- 1 tube refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
- 3 Tbls melted butter
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp parsley
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 Tbls parmesean cheese
-
Pre-heat oven to 400
-
Open up your can of biscuits and cut each one in half. Roll into a rope about 5 inches long.
-
Tie each rope into a knot (just like a shoe lace) tuck ends underneath. Place on greased baking sheet.
-
In a bowl mix together melted butter, garlic powder, dried oregano, parsley, salt, and parmesan cheese. Brush half of mixture on top of the rolls.
-
Bake 8-10 minutes or until they start to turn a little golden. Pull out of oven and brush the rest of mixture on top of rolls. Serve warm.
