DIY Cardboard Box Car

Hey friends! My boys are having so much fun with my DIY Cardboard Box Car. They loved to watch their movies in it and pretend its a drive in movie! With babies I feel like we are always buying diapers. And with diapers comes with boxes! I decided to finally put some use to these boxes and making something fun for my boys.

• Start by taping your diaper box back together but leave that right back flap out.
• Cut along the sides of your box about 2/3 of the way.
• Now you will have a flap that you bend in half to make the windshield. I put tape around like show in the picture. 
• I then taped black construction paper all around the box and added two plastic cups to the front of the car to make headlights. 
• I glued two plates to the side for wheels.
• Then I used an empty toilet paper roll and plate to create a steering wheel

This project was super easy and fast and I just used house hold items that I found so it didn’t cost me anything! Something so simple became one of my boys favorite things to play with. We make it a special project and they usually help me make it. 

We create a family movie night. They boys are in their cars and we make popcorn and watch a family movie. It creates the best memories!
