Green Smoothie Recipe for Kids recipe health for kids breakfast energy greens easy spinach

Hey lovelies! So if you don’t know yet, I have two boys Krew and Chet. Krew is 3 and Chet is 1. Krew has always been and still is a very picky eater just like his daddy. He wont touch anything that even seems close to a vegetable but he does love fruit. So I decided to try this green smoothie recipe for kids on him. The fruit masks the vegetable taste and he will totally drink it!

This is a win win in my book because I love drinking green smoothies as well and it can be for an adult as well as your kids. Chet loves it too. It makes me feel a little bit better that they are getting some more greens and nutrients in their diet.

The recipe is super easy and fast to make. What I usually do is buy a big bag of spinach from Costco, which only cost about $4.00 and a thing of bananas. When I get home I make little freezer bags for them. I put two handfuls of spinach in them. Then I peel the bananas and stick one in each bag as well. This is so that I don’t get lazy and say, “well I don’t want to get all the stuff out.” Its in the freezer and ready to go. I just plop in my blender and it makes it so much easier.
